Music Video: AYO ft DJ Ironik & Joelle Moses - Far Away

New artist outta the Uk.. comment me how you like this track/video

This is from the press release: A.Y.O’s up tempo production, built around a stabbing synth riff, is about as the title of the song suggests, being far way from someone you love/care/miss, and actually realising, when you are literally ‘above the clouds’ flying of somewhere - how much you love/care/miss that special someone.

This tune also sees Ironik in a totally different light. Having been described as “a young auteur who's turned his back on threats, brags and hype”, here we see the further development of this young artist, in terms of lyrical content, delivery and flow.

This is definitely a totally ‘now’ tune, and is just the beginning from this multi talented producer/rapper/songwriter.

Mofos at the Mobos: 2009 Mobo Awards

So last night was the UK's MOBO awards live in Glasgow and on BBC Three. There's all sorts of discussion flying around on Twitter, mainly around the fact that Dizzee Rascal and Tinchy Stryder, despite being the two biggest UK stars right now, walked away empty handed.

There's also the wider discussion that award shows like this don't make that much of a serious point in this day and age, with blogs and everyone having a voice on the internet, and that maybe they need controversies like this to get their own PR.

Anyway here's some clips from the show and the full list of winners and nominations.
