So every November, in order to raise awareness about Prostate Cancer, chaps (and some women) across the land take part in Movember, which is an event where the name of the game is to grow the biggest/bushiest/most bizarre mustache. Now, of course, anyone* can grow a mustache, but not anyone can get the cream of the UK's urban artists to champion it.

So enter one of twitter's most vocal mustachioed DJs, DJ Grind, who's managed to get some jokes video clips from the likes of Mistajam, Dappy N-Dubz and Master Shortie to spread the word about Movember and his tramp like epic mustache/beard growing ability..

Mistajam will be broadcasting live from Dizzee's Electric Proms this Wednesday on 1Xtra. Lock in from 7pm.

Various snippets of news circulated on Twitter yesterday about a schedule shake up at Radio 1 and 1Xtra, which come into play from 21st September 2009. Here's the key urban bits:

Westwood now has 1Xtra afternoon drive 4-7pm Mon-Thurs, whilst his current Radio 1/1Xtra Saturday show is cut to 9-11pm.

Mistajam starts a new show 11-1 Saturday on both 1Xtra & Radio 1

Ace & Vis move to a new weekend 4-7pm show on 1Xtra

Seani B takes over Mistajam's current 1Xtra mix show on Radio 1, Sun mornings 3-5am

Annie Mac gets the 7-9pm Friday show, switching with Pete Tong who now has 9-11

In New Music We Trust is replaced with various different shows, including Radio 1 Stories, which "will spend an hour exploring the musical back story of listeners' favourite artists, eras, genres and scenes."

As a result of the changes, Chris Goldfinger, Bobby Friction and Steve Lamacq leave Radio 1, although they'll continue to do shows on various other BBC stations.

Looks like festival season is upon us! Kelly Rowland, Mutya Buena and Chipmunk have been announced as headliners for the 2009 Love Music Hate Racism Festival on 30th May at Britannia Stadium, Stoke-on-Trent. Love Music Hate Racism uses the positive energy of the music scene to fight back against the racism being pushed by Nazi organisations like the BNP.

The one-day music festival with a message, is coming to the Britannia Stadium on Saturday 30th May. Some of the UK's top live acts and DJs from every genre of music will come together to celebrate Britain's diverse multicultural society by rocking and raving together with the fans of the music we all love.
